I do not agree with many of their choices, because a lot of the classic shows like the Odd Couple, Love American Style, Sanford and Son, Barney Miller and Happy Days were not on the list. Also how can shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer be considered among the best of all-time?
TV Guide's Top 50 Shows: 1. Seinfeld 2. I Love Lucy 3. The Honeymooners 4. All in the Family 5. The Sopranos 6. 60 Minutes 7. David Letterman 8. The Simpsons 9. The Andy Griffith Show 10. Saturday Night Live 11. The Mary Tyler Moore Show 12. The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson 13. The Dick VanDyke Show 14. Hill Street Blues 15. The Ed Sullivan Show 16. The Carol Burnett Show 17. The Today Show 18. Cheers 19. Thirty Something 20. St. Elsewhere 21. Friends 22. ER 23. Nightline 24. Law & Order 25. Mash 26. The Twilight Zone 27. Sesame Street (PBS) 28. The Cosby Show 29. I couldn't agree with you more. Also, did you notice that not a single game show made the list? They listed everything else though; talk shows to dramas.

Yeah, I feel they could've had better shows on the countdown. I only agree with 3 shows they put on the whole list. I didn't even know Buffy was considered so in your face to make it on the list. Guess I was wrong...

Yes, it is really amazing that there are no game shows on this list. What could they possibly be thinking? Because I think game shows are among the best television shows in television history.
