I recently tried buying this series on Amazon and the price was almost $200 before taxes. I went to Ebay, which had them for a lot less but most of them appeared to be Chinese knock offs for the unbelievably low prices (6 to 25 dollars) they were charging.
I ended up buying them from a seller in the states ($45.99) that had only watched the entire series once and had included real pictures rather than a stock photo from online. It was a great buy overall but the manufactured on demand sets look like bootlegs (most of those sets do though) and I thought to myself "why are they charging so much when they can't provide a quality product as an end result". I understand that this is the cheapest way for studios to release products that would otherwise never be released, but for the prices they charge, we should at least get artwork that does not look like it was printed off of a home computer. All in all, I am enjoying the DVD sets but wish there was a way that studios could charge decent prices for their MOD sets considering they look like the sets bootleggers make on a daily basis. |

I know about how MOD titles are pretty expensive, especially the Alice seasons and Night Court seasons which I'd love to get. Also edited MOD releases like The Joey Bishop Show and The Real McCoys are expensive despite being edited...makes no sense at all.
