Default Carol is 29?

I'm fairly new to Bob Newhart and just got up the episode where Carol is having a breakdown because shes "29" and feels stuck. In what world was that woman 29? LOL

Yeah! She looked a bit older than 29! But back in those days people didn't age as well! But WTH?? 29 and being upset?? Heck I will be 56 in a couple of months and I'd be happy if I was only going to be 49, much less 29, that is SO YOUNG ! But like I said it was different back than, people aged faster in those days, 29 was more like 39 or even older!!!

well to be honest I had a bit of a 29 breakdown myself LOL.
I'm in my mid 30s now and having another breakdown. It's all relative. But looking back I can now see that 29 ain't nothing to cry over LOL!

But the actress was in her early 40s at the time I believe. Some 29! LOL

I don't remember which season that particular episode is from, but Marcia Wallace was 29 when The Bob Newhart Show premiered, so in real life she was either 29 or in her early to mid 30's when the episode in question was filmed.

Yeah, and I'm thinking it probably was her hairdo that made her look older!

That was Season 1...
Oh my goodness, I calculated wrong. She was only about 30! Wow!

Sort of like Lou Grant's wife Edie is 45. Huh? 55 more like it.
