In Wally Gets His License he and Beaver are in the bathroom at the end and there’s a door right next to Wally at the sink. Is that a door to their parents’ bedroom? I think the guest bedroom is on the other side of the house. I think their parents’ bathroom is not in that area like in Beaver’s Good Deed.

According to the TV Sets book, there appears to be an unused door in the boys' bathroom, which would go to W&J's (smaller) bedroom. But, this blueprint shows W&J have their own bathroom.

This blueprint is generally faulty, since it shows 2 other (guest) rooms, with no main bathroom. No house is designed without an accessible bathroom for a bedroom or bedrooms.

I could've sworn Wally or Beaver came into the bathroom through that door in one of the eps.

I think it was Beaver’s House Guest when Chopper came for the weekend. Wally and Beaver have quite a long conversation in the bathroom near the shower. We do see two completely different bedrooms for Ward and June one in Beaver’s Good Deed when the bum used the bathroom and Party Spoiler when they’re hanging out. Don’t know where bathroom is.

That was it, Scrabjan1! That's where Wally came in, not from the hallway to the bedroom into the bathroom, but the hallway, into the bathroom.

2 doors, double sink, the only thing they didn't have in the bathroom was a toilet. Guess Ward built an outhouse in the backyard. Poor June on those cold wintry nights and having to clean it out. Hope she didn't drop the pearls!

By 1963 they could have shown the toilet. In Psycho 1960 Janet Leigh flushes papers down the toilet.

Hope they had a bathroom at Shadow Lake and Lake Crescent. Can’t have June cleaning an outhouse. When we go to a 200+ year old farmhouse in NH we have to use the outhouse before we turn on water. Not fun.

I remember going to a campground in RI (I think it was called Burlingame) as a kid, and all they had were outhouses. UGH!

My cousin and I were over 12 on that trip, but when we went to a drive-in movie, my cheap uncle (who went off exits on the Wilbur Cross and Merritt Parkways in Connecticut, to avoid 5 or10 cent tolls) had us crouch down in back to get us in under 12.

At least your Uncle Fred (I can picture Lumpy's father doing what your uncle did) would take you to a drive in. When we'd take a trip to the beach every summer my Dad would pass by every restaurant and fast food place on the way. We kids would be in the back see signs on the road telling of Howard Johnsons right ahead or the Peter Pan restaurant up ahead, we'd start begging to pull over so we could eat my Dad wouldn't say a word, he'd just drive right by the fooderies with a smile on his face. He hated spending a dime when he figured in about 4 hours we'd arrive then he can buy groceries and cook a dinner himself.

He did once or twice take us to see a drive in movie though, I hadn't experienced that before, they were fun. Of course he wouldn't buy any snacks.

But who needs snack when you're watching monsters.
