Earlier this year, I introduced you to a website called The TV Ratings Guide, which looks at TV ratings and analyzes them on a week by week and year by year basis. The best feature that I found on the site was the Ratings History page, which shows complete end-of-season network ratings info that goes all the way back to 1964, although some seasons only show the Top 30. That might get changed in the near future. If it does, I'll post the revised pages for you.

Recently I discovered a new page full of data which I believe will be of great interest to all of the sitcom lovers here. It is called Sitcom Scorecard and it compares the ratings at the end of each season for each series, except this page uses only sitcoms in the data. Here's how it works:

The first season that is used is 1964-65. This is the final Nielsen ratings guide for every series that aired during the 1964-65 season:

Now take a look at the same season and see how the sitcoms did:

I think that this will be of great use to people who love to compare sitcoms and see how they stack up with each other. Whether you take this data seriously or you just want to have fun with it is up to you. Here are some of the different seasons used on the site, some of which have been misidentified. I have posted the correct years so you won't get confused.
