Default Benji played in The Birds

I was watching The Birds this morning and noticed Benji had a role as a kid eating at a diner.

I always get those 2 kids mixed up (Rory Stevens and Joey Scott) in threads, but there was a thread pretty recently about one of them being in The Birds. Benji is Joey Scott--so he was in The Birds--was Rory Stevens (Chuckie), too?

Benji and Chuckie are two different kids?

I always thought it was Chucky , Rory Stevens that was in The Birds! Not 100 percent sure being he was uncredited, but to me that kid looks more like Chucky than like Benji !

Yep, two very similar little blonde boys. I get them mixed up too!

Yeah, it's confusing--but, yes, they're different kids. Joey Scott played Benji Bellamy, and Rory Stevens played Chuckie Murdock.

I checked IMDB and Wikipedia and neither one is shown in the cast on those sites. IMDB lists Jeannie Russell--I think she was in Dennis the Menace.

Joey Scott (Benji) is the kid who spilled the green paint all over himself, and in season 3, got upset when he thought Larry turned Beaver into a rock.

Rory Stevens (Chuckie) was the (at the time) unnamed kid who was buying ice cream from Wally when he was selling Igloo bars, and later needed shoes, and Beaver took him to the shoe store.

I'm thinking Benji seemed a little younger and more babyish than Chuckie? But other than that, they were very similar!

Which one, or were both, in The Birds?

Yes, sorry about that--just saw post 5--obviously missed it before. I think Chuckie was the one we were talking about in the other thread. Whichever one that was.

Second picture down shows the only glimpse I can find of the boy in the diner.

Oh, don't worry, it's cool! These posts go so fast, it's easy to overlook one!! Yeah, and come to think about it, I was in on that thread about Chuckie being in The Birds, I can't remember which thread it was on either though ?

Very cool!!! From that picture it is kind of hard to tell which one of the blonde boys it is? Last time I saw The Birds I checked the DVD out from the Public Library , I'm thinking to go over and get it again and specifically watch this scene extra closely and see if again I think it's Chuckie ? I LOVE this movie anyway, so if I get time to get to the library I will do this!

Doesn't that hysterical lady look like she is too old to be those kids Mother ? More like she is the Grandmother !
