Default Covers that you like

What are some covers that you like?

I like Dolly Parton's version of these songs:
Shine by Collective Soul (Tgis is one of the best covers ever done)
Help! by The Beatles
Peace Train by Cat Stevens
Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves
I Walk the Line by Johnny Cash
Downtown by Petula Clark
Lay Your Hands on Me by Bon Jovi

Ummm I don't know about that...

Whitney's version is good and "polished" but it lacks true feelings.

As for Dolly's version, you can feel the emotions.

Mickey Gilley's "Stand By Me" is better than the original. Tavares version of "More Than A Woman" is very good, almost as good as the Bee Gees one.

Also Rita Coolidge's "We're All Alone" is much better than the original sung by I think Boz Scaggs. On that song Ritas voice is so beautiful and smooth as silk. Such a relaxing beautiful song by Rita Coolidge.

Go here to check out my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys covering "I'll Put Angels Around You" from the act named Dr. Hook, I love to hear him sing it so much!!!

God bless you and his family always!!!

Absolutely not. Whitney Houston just blares out the words and totally ruined the song. Dolly Parton's original has real emotion and depth, you can practically hear her heart breaking.
