Bounty Paper Towels Commercials with Rosie The Waitress - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

As a commercial fan I found some really wonderful commercials for Bounty Paper Towels starring Nancy Walker of Rhoda as a waitress named Rosie who owned the fictional diner Rosie's and I would like to know if you remember these commercials. I didn't know that Nancy Walker acted in commercials because I only knew her from Rhoda. Were the Bounty Paper Towels commercials Nancy Walker's first commercials she ever did?

Yep!!! I totally remember Rosie and the Bounty paper towel commercials !

I actually found these commercials in my classic commercials DVD and I found Nancy Walker to be wonderful in the Bounty Paper Towels commercials and she is full of humor in the role of Rosie The Waitress. I wonder if Nancy Walker did commercials for other products too?

Nancy was great in the Bounty commercials. She did them for years. I first remember Nancy from McMillan & Wife. All the roles she played were so good.

There were some pretty good and long-running commercials, years ago. Mr. Whipple and his admonition not to squeeze the Charmin, Josephine the Plumber, Morris the Cat for 9 Lives, Mrs. Olsen and Folgers Coffee, the Jolly Green Giant, It's Not Nice To Fool Mother Nature...on and on...

Nancy was also hilarious in the role of Sophia's sister Angela on The Golden Girls! She should have made more guest appearances on that show because she was perfect!

There was also Cora from the Maxwell House Coffee ads played by the wicked witch herself Margaret Hamilton.
