Nodsmiley Quisp or Quake ?

OK come on all you older folks here such as myself! As a kid which one did you like better? And the younger people can vote too of course, if they have ever tried this cereal. I think it was brought back later maybe in certain stores?

"King Vitamin , have breakfast with the King , King Vitamin have breakfast with the king"!!! I TOTALLY remember the jingle and the commercials, but I REALLY don't remember at all what this cereal tasted like? I'm sure I tried it? My Mom bought all the new cereals for us when they first came out at our begging!!

Yep, ever thing you said is how I remember them....

Here is Quisp, Quake and Cap'N Crunch in a commercial together

Cap'N Crunch debut in 1963
Quisp and Quake debut together as rivals in 1965.

Oh how cute!!!! Thanks for posting this Foggy ! Did you also put a vote in for Quisp? I see 3 votes now, I think he only had 2 last I saw!

Poor Original Quake is really lagging behind!

I grew up on Cap 'n Crunch. Don't remember Quisp or Quake.

Yeah!! I think you are too young ,maybe just born when Quisp & Quake were on their way out! Mid 60's to early 70's was their time , cause I was pretty little when they were in their heyday ! But I remember them so vividly! And we had both at our house. My Sister and I more into Quisp and my Brother into Quake ! Even though they are really the exact same taste!! And so similar to Cap N' Crunch who survived ! Wow the Cap N is still around these days right? And Quisp can still be found (as per the link Opus posted) but it's very rare !

Anyway!! Hoping we get some more older folks seeing this thread and remembering Quisp and Quake like I do!

The reason I started this poll thread was because I was on that A-Z game . What are you not? And I landed on Q ! I had no idea what to post and Quisp and Quake popped into my head!!

Older folks!?! Anyway, when I was growing up, my mother and
grandmother, did not believe in "boxed cereals". So, if I had cereal, it was
always oatmeal or malt-o-meal. Subsequently, I've never seen Quisp or Quake. I gave my two boys, boxed cereal, but, Quisp or Quake, I've never heard of, until your post.

I remember both cereals, I was more of a Quisp fan.

Another kids cereal from around that time was Kaboom. Who remembers that one? It went off the market for awhile but then came back some years later. Below is a link to a picture of the Kaboom cereal box:

I chose Quake because that cereal had just come out when I met my future husband. It was wintertime and he was always wearing these brown boots with yellow laces. So my friend's and I started calling him Quake.

I was about six when this happened, and I voted Quisp. I even got the battery powered propeller beanie.

P.S. That cereal was delicious!
