I absolutely love Bill Daily!!!! He is actually a lot like his character, Roger!! Wanna know why? He could never remember his lines and would just make up stuff!! He is such a funny man! I love all of his guest appearances on Match Game. Check out game show network every night at 8pm to see if Bill is on! He is a funny guy altogether! You also should visit tvland and try to get The Bob Newhart Show back on. Bill played the pilot, Howard Borden on that show. He also appeared in several movies, but he in fact hates Hollywood!! Vote on my poll to let me know what you think of him!!!

He is so funny can't get enough of Roger's stupid comments and I don't think that anyone else could have played the role but Bill Daily.

Well, if he's like his character, he can't be all that bad. I like Roger's "innocent" mannerisms and upbeat attitude.

He's really the only reason I watch Match Game's from after Richard Dawson left. If he's on, I'll watch, if he's not, I usually don't bother.

I'm more familiar with Bill Daily's work as Howard Borden on TBNS, but he was also very good on IDOJ. A very underrated comedic actor indeed!!

Take a look at my avatar and you'll see that I'm a big Bill Daily fan. Since this thread has popped up again - an update:

Bill can be heard on streaming "radio" on Thursday mornings. He's been on Big I 107.9 Albuquerque for almost 3 years now, MOST Thursday mornings. He talks with the two DJ's, Tony Lynn and Myles, from 7:00 am Mountain Time until just after 8 am. (That's 9 am-10am to you Easterners, 6 am to 7 am for us left-coasters. All others will have to do the math.) You log into http://www.bigi1079.com/main.html and click on the "Listen Live" link, then wait for your media box to pop up.

I've been listening for the past 2-1/2 years, and have only missed him 3 times or so. I try to take notes and post them, but some things are just better heard for yourself -
