Does anyone like Angelique Kidjo? She is a really wonderful and talented singer from Africa who also sings songs in English and I started liking Angelique Kidjo when I heard her sing We Are One from The Lion King II soundtrack and she is really cool

Angelique Kidjo also did a song that Santana covered on their album Shaman and I thought the original version was so cool. I'm surprised that Angelique Kidjo isn't as popular because she has such a powerful voice and you should check out one of her albums and you'll be surprised at her awesome talented sound

For my birthday I got Angelique Kidjo's greatest hits album Keep On Moving and to my surprise I loved Angelique's talent and when you hear her sing you will be swept away because Angelique Kidjo's music is very unique and relaxing and very soothing and she does a great job singing in three languages Swahili French and English Angelique Kidjo knows her stuff well. My mom came in to listen to Angelique Kidjo and she liked her singing as well. If you want to hear a female singer from Africa who can really show her talent Angelique Kidjo is a worthy listen

Another song Angelique Kidjo covers is Summertime and her version in Swahili is just so fabulous and soothing. She also sings Jimi Hendrix's hit Voodoo Child very well too. I must say every time I listen to Angelique Kidjo it reminds me of the Cost Plus World Market chain of stores because when I shopped there once that's the kind of music that played throughout the store
