This just started yesterday, could be from a new ad but those don't usually have audio. I don't want to have to adjust my computer volume for posting and reading threads here, am used to just text on this site.

This has happened to me several times throughout the week. I believe it is an ad.
Do you have Firefox? I imagine this trick would work similarly on other browsers though. At the top of a tab that plays sounds you should see this speaker symbol: Just click on it and all sound coming from that tab will be muted. |
