I like how Beaver and Chuckie are introduced like they never met before.

I also like how Wally assumed it would be Chuckie. It became clear as the episode went on that he had stayed with Pat before.

That was weird like there was never a time when Mrs. Murdoch pushed her kid on Wally to take him for shoes. She did it again surprising them that Beaver would be babysitting Patricia not Chuckie.
Another time was in Eddie’s Double Cross when Wally acts like he never met Alma when her mother monopolized his time when they were dating. |

Didn't Wally also call Chuckie "little boy" in Wally the Businessman? Like he didn't know his name.

I don’t think he knew Chuckie at that time it was his first appearance and had no name. I like when the shoe salesman was trying to find him and called him “little boy.”

Also, didn't the Murdoch's used to live across the street from the Cleavers?
I know Benji and his family lived right across the street from the Cleavers in both houses.

I can't think of a Rory Stevens appearance before that late season 3 episode, where he was just "Little Boy". As for the Murdochs generally, I'll ask for help on that one!

I saw Rory in The Birds but don’t think he got billing. He was the hysterical mother’s kid who didn’t have a line. Veronica Cartwright, Violet, had a big part.

The Birds freaks me out. I haven't seen it in awhile.
I think I've seen him in other sitcoms too, when he was older. His best scene was in Beaver's Frogs. |

Rory was in two 1970's horror films- Carrie and Ruby, both starred Piper Laurie.

Did anybody wonder why June or Ward couldn't have gone over to the Murdochs' and babysit Pat? Yeah, I know, we wouldn't have had a story then...

So many of the episodes have a simple solution. June offers to babysit in Double Date when Wally wants to keep his date. She could have babysat in Beaver the Babysitter.
