That guy in the ALF suit - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the opening credits of some seasons you see ALF set the auto-timer on a tripod camara, then run up to get in the photo. My question: who is the guy in the ALF suit who played that part? Because you see ALF from head to toe there - where-as in the series, regularly you just see ALF from the waist up, sort-of bobbing along (obviously fake). Big Question: Is that the same guy as from Spy Who Shagged me/Shasta McNasty? (Vern)

The guy in the ALF costume the first season was a three-foot-tall midget named Michu Meszaros. Vern Troyer was in the Austin Powers movie and various other shows.

Sorry JT, that's not right. Paul Fusco was the voice of ALF but he was never "in the ALF suit"...

Yeah TJ's right.
You know, I hated when they showed Alf played by Michu Meszaros. I liked him better when he was a puppet later on. The features were distorted on the custume, like his ears, and none of his facial features moved.
