I thought the girls' reaction to seeing Wally was a little over-acted. As was Mary-Ellen's father's reaction.

Good answers and all right. I also thought Mr. Rogers’s reaction was over the top as he knew Wally I’m sure. Mr. Rogers told the Cleavers to get rid of the dead horse.

The girls acted like he was a matinee idol.

OMG, I felt so bad for Wally during this episode but I was cheering when he poured that ice cream over Lumpy and Eddie! I was not expecting that at all!

It was a very good episode as it was so out of character for straight laced Wally. Love how Wally has to repeat the ice cream flavors and sandwiches to Eddie. I guess Eddie became rather unpopular with MaryEllen’s father as he’s not invited to the masquerade party in Beaver’s Long Night.

Good thing Wally didn't go to the masquerade. Some possible dialog from Mary Ellen's father: "You get outta here. I recognize you in that bunny suit! You weren't invited and you know it!"

Also had he gone he might not have been home yet for June's stupid questions. "Do you know who might have called the police? Mr. Rutherford is very upset." Uh, June, it's called process of elimination. Figure it out. Who was home and always gets in trouble?

June was especially flaky in this one. Could it have been your brother, Beaver? Now why would they have her say that? I love how all of a sudden Pine Avenue changes to Pine Street. Wonder why Gilbert was in this one and not Richard or Whitey.

Love how Gilbert and Beaver run upstairs to the room and the door is shut and Gilbert is very loud saying we can’t tell Wally we called the cops on his friends. Couldn’t Wally hear it?

Unwritten sitcom rule: no one ever hears anything said on the other side of a door.
