Tag scenes? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Does anyone know if Three's A Crowd originally had tag scenes? When I taped them on Antenna TV a while back they did not have tag scenes, and I wonder if they were cut out like the Three's Company tag scenes were cut for syndication.

No, they didn’t. I remember watching it during first run and noticing the format change from TC and how it didn’t have the “will return in a moment” bumper like TC did.

I guess they ran out of ideas for tag scenes.

And they had just two commercial breaks, one after the opening theme song and another after the first act of an episode.

There are only so many ideas for tag scenes & many have been rehashed so maybe they thought it wasn't worth it.
