It's a shame that Robert Stack never did a segment on the Walker County Jane Doe.

I had never heard of this particular Jane Doe before. Sad story.

I wonder who she was trying to visit in the prison...

There's enough material on sites like the Doe Network to keep UM going for years. As to this poor girl, I was going to mention Henry Lee Lucas (until I scrolled down and found he was ruled out). I was also going to suggest she might've been related to someone in that prison (when I read one of the news articles that mentioned none of the employees or inmates there recognized her).

So sad.
