Did Nancy Dussault appear to be too young to be the mom of 2 grown daughters - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Nancy Dussault was born in 1936 while Deborah Van Valkenburgh (Jackie) and Lydia Cornell (Sara) were born in 1952 and 1953 respectively. Nancy was therefore in real life, 16 when Deborah was born and 17 when Lydia was born.

Audrey Meadows, who played Nancy's mother was born in 1922, only one year prior to Ted Knight, who played Nancy's husband. I find it funny that they acted like Henry's mother in law was this old battle axe, yet she really was more his age and looked it.

Jackie and Sara from what I just read, were apparently supposed to be 21 and 18 respectively at the start of the series.
