I hope it’s on at night so I can see it. At least it didn’t usually have a closing theme and usually had an end tag scene or bloopers over the credits so it shouldn’t be crunched.

Hallmark crunched the HI credits down on the bottom of the screen, not to mention the total re-do on the original ABC broadcasts. So it can be done--it's hopeless to fight it.

What I'd like to see are all those clever animated bumpers that were in the original broadcasts--those weren't even on the DVD sets. I know WGN used to use them, but no one would now--they might lose 9 seconds of valuable ad time.

Questions. What is the term that is used before the commercial breaks? Is it transitions or bumpers? And were they always on the show originally?

It's been on Laff ever since they yanked off Roseanne.
