Curious if that case is on streaming where the two detectives are staking out (I think apartment) when two guys rob them and kill the woman officer. I skip around on the streaming so I may have skipped over it

I don't know why that case was never profiled either.

It could be there is information in the segment that is no longer accurate or suspects who have been eliminated since the original airing (no one wants lawsuits). However, I know there are other old murder cases that Filmrise has edited to take suspects out of the segment that have since been cleared (they still air the segment, but just edited parts of it out). So, it's weird and inconsistent the way they do things. My best guess is it's probably just up to the local police departments. Some may recommend they not air the segment at all, while others are fine with editing. Filmrise stated on Reddit they will take the recommendation of the police department in question. |

Yeah, it's odd that this one is missing from Prime, as it's technically a half-solved mystery since only one of the two assailants was convicted. I know it sounds like they found a pretty promising suspect to be the second suspect to be the second gunman, but he was never charged. I guess there are a myriad of reasons why Filmrise would have chosen not to include this one.
