Default Homemade recordings only hope for lost TV films

I sorted out the Wide World of Mystery series and unfortunately many installments have been missing for decades. The broadcast tapes of some of these were wiped by ABC and in most cases kinescopes were either never made or have been missing since the early 80s. Off-air recordings may be the only copies left in existence. It's a shame film preservation societies don't actively get the word out on endangered films. Would have been particularly useful before the mass "VHS purge" of the early 2000s when most home tapes went into the trash but better late than never. They're too busy pining for turn-of-the-century novelties I guess.

Besides myself I know several other collectors looking for these. If you have any it's imperative they get into the hands of someone who'll make back-ups with good equipment. I'm still in the process of adding info to these but anything tagged "lost" is critical, anything tagged "arc" exists in film archives but is still sought after as those aren't viewable by the general public.

Werewolf of Woodstock is on the grey market already. I had it posted to youtube at one time but it actually got a copyright strike from Dick Clark Productions who's been neglecting it for 40 years (why renew the copyright just to bury it?).

Shadow of Fear is one of the few to get an actual release. It's on a DVD double feature with Nightmare at 43 Hillcrest.

I see you show Death Cruise is available in some form. I recently watched it on one of the streaming services. I believe it was Netflix, but it may have been on Amazon Prime. It was a faded copy but still pretty decent.

Also, I have a copy of One Deadly Owner transferred from betamax with original commercials. I believe it was from a mid-80s late night airing on WGN.

I've seen The Centerfold Murders on people's lists before. Mainly on ones that no longer trade.

These are in a film archive but no other copies are known to exist. Archive copies may sit indefinitely without ever being utilized because they are not considered a priority. So for those who care about....you know, watching the movie, an archival print existing is pretty much irrelevant. You'll still never see it.

AND THE BONES CAME TOGETHER
THE DEADLY VISITOR
DEATH IN SPACE*
A GIFT OF TERROR
THE HAUNTING OF ROSALIND
THE HOUSE AND THE BRAIN
THE IMPERSONATION MURDER CASE
MR. AND MS. AND THE BANDSTAND MYSTERY
MR. AND MS. AND THE MAGIC STUDIO MURDERS
MURDER IMPOSSIBLE
MURDER IN THE FIRST PERSON SINGULAR
NICK AND NORA
NIGHTLIFE
SONG OF THE SUCCUBUS
SORORITY KILL

*This was released on VHS in Spain. No english language copies have been found other than one at Library of Congress.

As a have? That's be cool cause I haven't found evidence of a broadcast more recent than 1982.

In people's haves, yes. It probably was a 80's broadcast they had. It's been a few years though.

I'm desperate to get hold of THE NORMING OF JACK 243. Can anyone help?

I have various unreleased series and films I'm more than happy to trade for it if anyone has it -- though I don't know if I have anything anyone would be interested in.
