Long ago I heard that when Let's Make A Deal was filming episodes for a new season in the 70's when the show made a comeback one of the hosts that was gonna audition to host the show was country singer Glen Campbell but then Monty Hall returned to host LMAD and Glen Campbell dropped out of the auditions. I did also learn that Glen Campbell made a guest appearence on an episode of LMAD as a guest trader. Were Monty Hall and singer Glen Campbell best friends?

Hi, Bestie! It is true that Campbell was auditioning to host the show. But he was not a friend of Monty. The producers were just using him to get Monty to sign a new contract. Thnks for the trivia Bestie!
