Default Has Cartoon Network changed it's image and trying to attract a wider audience?

Since it's debut in the 90's Cartoon Network has always been one of the top channels in kids TV today and now I've noticed that Cartoon Network has adopted a new image and attracting a huge successful audience and I can't figure out why they did this? Is it because Cartoon Network wants to develope more cartoons that people will watch or is it because Cartoon Network is trying to copy Nickelodeon and be more huge in TV? Because when I have seen Cartoon Network it seems that they show nothing but reruns of Teen Titans Go and The Amazing World Of Gumball and you rarely see episodes of We Bare Bears and Adventure Time reruns shown on Cartoon Network these days. I have also noticed that Cartoon Network is focusing on their Adult Swim lineup by making new shows and adding new anime cartoons and to me it seems that Cartoon Network thinks that Adult Swim is successful for fans that like the Adult Swim shows. Ever since Boomerang debuted Cartoon Network stopped airing the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons and reruns of their original cartoons like the original The Powerpuff Girls Sheep In The Big City and Courage The Cowardly Dog and it seems that once the new cartoons debuted on Cartoon Network the classic cartoons went to Boomerang. I also think that Cartoon Network is also attracting an audience of college age people now because every time I have seen Cartoon Network they have commercials advertising colleges and universities and it seems that Cartoon Network is a huge hit with teenagers and college students now. I remember when Cartoon Network used to cater to kids by advertising toys and commercials for kids stuff like McDonald's Happy Meals and now you see few toy commercials and other advertisements relating to kids on Cartoon Network now and it seems that Cartoon Network realizes that their audience is grown up with children of their own and now Cartoon Network wants to focus on teenagers now. I sure wish Cartoon Network would someday go back to it's kids roots and air great cartoons that kids could watch with their parents again

Cartoon Network has been adapting and creating original programming since 1996. Just like any other network, they change overtime. They will never be like how they use to, all we can hope for is a new network to be created that will cater to vintage animated programs.

Hi, Bestie! Cartoon Network should buy some g-rated Anime like Sailor Moon for the daytime. What do you think?
