I find it interesting that in the Brady reunion specials, like Brady Brides and The Bradys and the Brady Christmas movie, Jan is the more financially successful one compared to Marcia.. She also has a smarter husband than Marcia.. Do you think being the 'sisters shadow" middle child contributed to her being the more successful one later on? At least the writers cut Jan a break when she was usually the struggling one on the original show..

In the first place, maybe the writers wanted to show a form of poetic justice. On top of that, I see that this is your first post. I am very happy to welcome you aboard!

thank you smartboy.. Also, it isn't like I 'hated" Marcia like some people did.. I was actually kind of sorry for her in the reunion specials with her husband acting like a goof and her bratty kids..

Yeah, Marcia had it tough in the reunion movies. Her kids were awful, well, Mickey most of all, Jessica was okay. But they were always fighting. Jan wanted a baby with Philip and then the adopted and Patty was only seen a few episodes but was a lot more well behaved than Mickey and Jessica. Greg's kid Kevin seemed okay to me. Marcia had the most struggles financially of all the kids. I wonder if she and Wally would have ever divorced.
