Because today is Valentine's Day I searched for Valentine's Day cartoons and came across a cartoon that seemed to be a Valentine's Day Special starring the characters from the comic The Family Circus and when I saw it I was impressed with this cartoon and it was really cute. It appears that this Valentine's Day cartoon is from the 80's and was released on video and seemed to be a start for a cartoon series of The Family Circus

The special is from 1978 and was the first of the Family Circus specials. It originally debuted on network television and was re-run for years, up until the late 90s. Theres also the Christmas special from '79 and the Easter special from '82.

Hi, Bestie! Family Circus used to be one of my favorite newspaper comics. I never saw the tv cartoon. Can you by it somewhere?

I loved the Family circus comic !!

It was always one of my favorites when I used to get the newspaper !

I didn't know they had a Valentines special ! I would love to see it ! Family Circus is adorable!!!

No. But its on youtube as well as the other 2 specials.
