A trader from this board moved close to where i live. i sought him out because he had some dvds i was seeking. anyway he informs me he had moved here from MO. so he calls me and we meet at a wendy's near both of us. the trade had been arranged and he loaned me nine boxsets he had. i returned them to him today. anyway the point of this post is that 96% or better of traders i have dealt with have been honest people in terms of trading and more. nice to meet someone on other side of an email.

Several years ago I met a trader in person. We met on the alt.video.tape-trading newsgroup I think. I’m not sure if he still trades or is a member here. We realized we lived in the same city when we exchanged addresses. We decided that meeting in person would be easier. We met at Starbucks and traded discs. He was a cool guy and we did a few more trades after that. I trusted him so I just swung by his house and dropped off discs that I burned and picked up the ones he made for me. It was nice meeting someone with similar interests and who actually knew what you were talking about with regard to certain obscure esoteric shows and movies.
