In the 90's Disney launched Marsupilami a cartoon supposedly a spin-off of Goof Troop that featured Marsupilami living in the jungle and having all sorts of humorous adventures. It's a surprise that Disney's Marsupilami is one of the most underrated cartoons of The Disney Afternoon block and it should be released on DVD soon

It is not a spinoff of Goof Troop. Marsupilami is a French-Belgian comic book character that has appeared in the magazine "Spirou" since 1952. Disney does not own the character and was only licensed by them for a brief time in the 90s. He first appeared in the US in 1992 in animated shorts on "Disneys Raw Toonage" and then his own series in '93. It would be nice to see these on dvd but its highly unlikely that will happen.
