Default Beaver Wasn’t Good At This

Name things that Beaver wasn’t good at.

I’ll start:

He was pretty bad at Math he got a D- on his report card. Wally thought he was hopeless.

He wasn't so good at baseball early on but in the last season when he and his friends were getting ready for high school one of his friends said they'd be the nucleus of a good team.

In basketball, on the other hand, the coach in the park league (?) told Ward right in front of Fred that Beaver wasn't another Wally in basketball.

sneaking, lying and/or getting away with it. Seriously, with the Beav getting caught EVERY single time, one would think he'd have decided that the best way to avoid consequences of getting caught would be not to do it at all by the end of the First Season (but then there's have been no show after that).

Clarinet. He never even tried to learn but I don’t think Mr. Willit ever tried to help him. Was he supposed to pay for lessons?

English. He had no idea the difference between verbs and adverbs and was flunking the subject.

Dancing. He was never much good in dancing school or floating as a canary but later he twisted and bopped around the room to Billy Baxter’s My Wild Irish Geisha and You’re Driving Me Ape You Big Gorilla.

PE or tumbling. Beaver got a D in PE and told Ward it was because he could not do a somersault.

He wasn’t too good at picking out a birthday present for June. I guess a silk blouse with French landmarks and “oil wells” was hard for a 10 year old to resist.

He wasn’t too good at making a bet. He lost his new baseball glove to Whitey claiming he could walk 20 miles in one day.

Smile Never hit a girl

Fighting a girl. He more or less lost the fight to the "paperboy" who turned out to be a little cute girl. Beaver came out marked and dirty before he realized he was battling a girl. She was a beauty too, I recognized her face, she was later an actress in her late teens or early 20's, hot even when she was a little kid punching Beaver.

Even Violet Rutherford beat up Beaver and gave him a black eye.
