Pillsbury Commercials - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Do you remember when Pillsbury commercials came out they were so cute to watch because the Pillsbury Doughboy would giggle at the end? Those were such adorable commercials that were popular in the 60's 70's and 80's and 90's. But have you noticed that if you look at the Pillsbury commercials today you'll notice that they now feature celebrities promoting Pillsbury and the Pillsbury Doughboy is rarely seen in the commercials. Is this because Pillsbury wants to use celebrities a lot more to promote their products or is it to get more people to buy their products? Every time I have seen Pillsbury commercials during commercial breaks of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire I seem to think that these new commercials are giving Pillsbury a new image and they should try to make the Pillsbury commercials cute like they used to with the Pillsbury Doughboy

Probably due to it no longer being PC to "laugh" when you poke a fat boy. Just saying.

I remember seeing a number of commercials with the Pillsbury Doughboy. Some of them ended with the line "And Pillsbury says it best" followed by his giggle.
