Default Would YOU date a Robot??

Would you date a robot? Robots in the near future will be so human-like that you would need a keen eye to determine that they were not human.
Jia Jia, a robot, that was developed by Chen Xiaoping and his colleagues at the University of Science and Technology of China.

Dubbed 'robot goddess', Jia Jia has the long flowing locks and rosy red cheeks as a human, but is being taught deep learning abilities.

This humanoid is designed with natural eye movement, speech that is syncs with its lip movements.

This life-like cyborg create by Chen Xiaoping and his colleagues at the University of Science and Technology of China, who unveiled the technology in Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province.

It took the team three years to complete the robot, which can speak, show micro-expressions, move its lips and body. The humanoid is programmed
to recognize human/machine interaction, has autonomous position, navigation and offers services based on cloud technology. Would you date
a robot?

As robots become an ever increasing part of our daily lives, humans could soon find love with the machines, according to a new U.K. report created by
Paris based Havas, that examined the future of artificial intelligence and
people's attitudes to the future technology.

The report suggests that over a quarter of U. K. 18-34 year-olds will feel it's normal to form friendships and even romantic relationships with robots in the future instead of humans.

And it seems that men are more likely to embrace the bots, with the report indicating that males are three times more likely to form a relationship with a robot than women, reports Daily Mail. It's a general consensus that smart
phones are weakening human bonds. Further report findings:
By 2030, most people will have some form of virtual sex as casually as they browse porn today.
• By 2035 the majority of people will own sex toys that interact with virtual reality sex.
• "Sexbots" will start to appear in high-income, very wealthy households as soon as 2025.
• Sex with robots will be more popular than human-human sex in 2050.
• Love and the act of sex is set to become increasingly separate, with relationships increasingly becoming based on more than just sex.
As bizarre, as this seems to me, I can see this happening.

What if your robot was a lookalike of your favorite movie star, or someone from your past, that might put a different spin on it!

Robot, no way, but a Synth.....no, that could be problematical, too.

That's just disturbing. If someone is so obsessed with a person from their past they have them recreated as a robot, they need serious therapy.

The use of Robots has endless possibilities, like everything, it could be perverted, when you're dealing with human being anything can happen.
However, Robots could be used for helpful things, like companions or
caregivers for the lonely, elderly, and disabled, also babysitters. I'm sure
robots will be integrated into society, eventually, even as professionals ie
Doctors or Lawyers. There's a huge US shortage of Doctors and Nurses looming in the near future. We need someone to help take care of the BabyBoomers . From Astronauts to Migrant Farmworkers to FireFighters robots, will find places in society.
I, for one, would like to take a look at a Tom Selleck model!

I'll pass; I'm hanging onto reality as long as the world will let me. Scientific progress doesn't always equal cultural progress. In fact, it's often quite the opposite.

For a romantic partner or a friend I will say no! But looking at a messy house after working a lot and not feeling like cleaning and doing housework on my days off, I'd say a robot as a maid would be VERY nice!!!

Like Rosie!!!!!
