Yup. About 16yrs ago, a farmer found a Jeep submerged in a pond/gravel pit and it was later revealed it contained the bodies of Bill Rundle and Traci Kenley
http://unsolvedmysteries.wikia.com/w...nd_Bill_Rundle I can't remember if I read about this on the site of one of the local news stations or in the paper, but I tied it to UM because this is one of the last cases I remember watching on TV. I got a few links together and emailed them off (am sure I wasn't the only one to do so though). |

I sent in a tip pertaining to the Selena Edon case years ago. I had seen a full profile of her on MyLife and thought it was Selena, as the full name, birth date and places of residence matched hers. A lot of people feel that Selena Edon is alive, so I figured I should tell the San Francisco police about it, and I did. The woman I initially spoke to said they'd get in touch with me should they find anything. Unfortunately, this was around the time I had my phone number changed, and when I called them back to let them know, it was a different woman who had broken English and couldn't get her to understand what I was talking about. I don't know if they ever followed up on my tip, but how could a site like MyLife create a personal profile of a woman who had been missing for 2 decades at that point?

I submitted a web tip about the "Debbie" from North Carolina case, and how I thought Ernest Cherry should be looked at as a potential suspect. Never heard anything from them. Although they did spam my e-mail address with advertisements for their app and when they started uploading seasons to Amazon.

I've never submitted a tip. However, I have totally contacted multiple law enforcement agencies with questions about certain cases.

I thought this unidentified person should be looked at as possibly a missing person who was profiled on UM who disappeared 08/28/1991.
https://www.identifyus.org/en/cases/3891 Sorry to be coy, but I am not saying the name of the UM missing person because I would not want to upset his family if they found their way to this thread from a google search. But I think many of the people here would know who I'm talking about. The unidentified person was: -white -between 30-50 -found in Houston 10/29/1991 -estimated 68 inches (3 inch difference, but it's an estimate) -brown hair -abdominal scar I sent this to UM via a web tip but never received any response. The data available was slim, but again I think someone should take the time to at least review the data and rule him out if it's not him, and I grant that the chances are not great that it's a match. |
