FX has slotted the premier date for the sixth and final season of praised drama series "The Americans". Season 6 debuts Wednesday, March 28 at 10 PM ET/PT.

Created by Joe Weisberg, "The Americans" is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell) posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. during the Reagan administration.

The Americans’ final season “feels really good and satisfying,” says Keri Russell
At the TV press tour, the cast and crew of the FX series said they are still shooting and haven’t had time to reflect on the end. But based on the final 11 scripts, Russell promises an ending that will be satisfying.
