Donna had two Alma Maters.
In S3:E13 "Donna Goes to a Reunion," her college is Blaine. Remember the cheer "B-L-A-I-N-E" when Donna got a black eye? She was called "Donnie Pie" and her friends were Buffy and Hope. Then, in the very next season, S4:E20, "Donna's Prima Donna," she takes Mary to Fairburn College, stating Mary would be the 3rd generation to attend Fairburn. This is the episode that introduced the song "Johnny Angel." You would think that the writers would consider this since the first episode was based solely on her reunion, and the second episode was important as it promoted a hit song! They ran into a problem because Blaine was a women's college and they needed a coed college when Mary sang at the dance. To confuse things even more, Donna claimed she met Alex at the malt shop on the Fairburn campus, but S2:E34 "The First Time We Met," they were introduced at Bill and Dorothy Sawyer's dinner party. Alex didn't go to Fairburn; he went to a different college with Jack and Moose, and Mary ended up going to a college "4.2 miles" from home! I guess her singing career didn't pan out. |

I'll go with something lame and say that Donna transferred to Fairburn.
I wonder why Donna even went to college. |
