Question Creepiest photos on Unsolved Mysteries...

Hey guys,

What is the creepiest photo of a person you ever saw on the show? For me, it's Dennis and Marylin Depue.

That's a good one.

For me, it's Elizabeth Campbell's purse. I'm not kidding, but that picture scared the ever loving crap out of me.

Also, one of the pictures of Judith Hymes scared me pretty bad as a kid...

So many to choose from:

Terri Hoffman
Wadada's deformed hand sketch
Elena Souza
Eduwigis Escalante (My jaw still drops when they list her age as 51, ditto to Lupita/Emma Figueroa being 41.)
The burned-out remains of Kristi Krebs' car
Selena Edon's accident scene photos
Joe Welden Smith

Also, I find pictures of victims taken just before their death to be very haunting. The man calling himself Tom Hughes had his picture taken just hours before he had his fatal heart attack. Rachael Runyan had a family portrait (not shown in segment, but available online) taken the day before her abduction. The segment also showed a pic of her wearing the same dress she was wearing the day she vanished and added that she might be wearing it in the alleged snuff movie. Stuff like that just gives me chills.

I forget the name of the victim, but it involved a motorcycle death and the sketch of the suspect with the craziest eyes and brows.

I'll throw these in the maybe pile? I know Tina Resch has been written off. But I struggle with how she pulled this off in front of two newspaper reporters, her foster parents and a Child Services caseworker...

The above photo was the one printed in the Columbus Dispatch in 1984. This second rare photo shows two phones flying across Tina and towards Lee Arnold, who was a child services caseworker. (Apparently the reason for the second phone was because the foster parents had bought a cheaper one because their regular one was malfunctioning.)

I only remember one photo they used of Judith. Were there others?

On a sidenote, it's stunning to me that she was only 22. That picture made her look so much older.

This photo of James Donald King always freaked me out all blown up on the TV with that music rolling.

Any photo of a Homicide Victim or Missing Person that's really bad in quality creeps me out for some reason.

Seeing as 95% of Cases profiled were pre Digital Cameras this was quite common.

Can't say a purse ever creeped me out...but I'm guessing it was the age-progression photo of her? (Judith)

Season 3, episode 20.

Also, the movie "Jeepers Creepers" (released in 2001) has almost certainly used the first several minutes of that segment as inspiration. (If not a major element of the plot)

For some reason, the second sketch of the Canadian Hitchhiker that Philip Fraser picked up still gives me the willies.

The photo of the 1980 Donald Eugene Webb always creeped me out.

The age progression one? No so much. That one has kind of a "Yo, Adrian!" look to it.

His remains were found in June of last year, his wife hid him after he died from a series of strokes in 1999.

The "alien" creature featured in the Guardian UFO video.

I know it's a hoax, but it still creeps me out to this day.
