I noticed her singing at Andy's piano in a few shows at the end. Had she moved to town?

According to imdb Maggie ( Peterson) Mancuso played a character named Doris in an episode of tags.

She was in rfd & gomer Pyle usmc also playing non Charlene briscoe characters also.

Part of the charm of classic sitcoms is the ensemble playing different roles when needed.

Yes. It was nice to see Maggie in these other roles -- although there and on Green Acres, she was never really offered a lively part to compare with the freewheeling Charlene character.

I've seen youtube videos of her singing with the dllards at Mayberry days in andy Griffiths home town.
