Default anyone want to trade for Rescue 911?

I've made 14 discs with a total of 109 episodes. Overall great quality.

I've got some of those. I'm really hoping they do at least one more cycle as I have some spots in my own collection I need to fill. I think they probably will, but if not, maybe we can trade. It really doesn't fit their lineup too much, but I tend to associate it with Unsolved Mysteries (which would fit their lineup) since both came on around the same time and were popular from the late 80's through the mid 90's. And in terms of serious hosting, William Shatner and Robert Stack certainly rank right up there.

Do you know if they've aired these stories yet? I remember these distinctly from my childhood:

-elderly couple is lost at sea for 5 days.
-criminal's car breaks down in front of elderly couple's house. The woman attempts to help him, but he goes into their house and assaults both of them and tries to flee, in a taxi I think.

Yes, both of those aired. I have those. I think it will be on the Network for awhile. I think the skipping of certain episodes is a way to keep people watching to see if they will eventually air the episodes. I think they will. At least 7 episodes were skipped during the first 100, 1 from the second run, and 4 will be skipped in the next two weeks.

Oh crap. The same episodes are airing on the same days and times. I can usually catch everything except the Mon-Wed 5 + 5:30 ones.

I supposed I could just do a timer recording, but wouldn't be able to edit out the commercials.

They are skipping episode 105, which has the segment where a dog gets caught up in the telephone chord and a baby with a bad heart gets a transplant from a baby born without a brain. Do you know if that one got skipped last time? If it did, then i have little faith that episodes that got skipped last time around will be re aired later.

Don't know for sure. I don't have it in my collection. Are they airing the episodes in order? I printed off an episode guide as a checklist and have been marking off the segments I have recorded, but the episode guide is from the hour-long episodes and they are showing half-hour ones. It's confusing because everything is everywhere. I think they've been mostly showing season 5 segments right now. I'm thinking the last episodes won't be in their package.

Right before this project, my previous one was Crime Stories, also from Justice Network. They kept showing the same 44 episodes, roughly half of the number of episodes the show produced. Maybe they can only get access to a certain number of episodes. But at the very least, I have some episodes of Crime Stories I got from someone who recorded them from C & I that I can add in.

With them starting over, I think that episode was skipped. 110 and 111 aired in the morning slot of Nov 1, which was a Weds, and they are airing again January 24, which will be in the morning slot. If that’s the case, the days of the week are identical and that means that probably the same episodes will be skipped.

The first 100 episodes had the episodes old theme from the hour long episodes, while the remaining 200 had the previews for each episode. They skipped the 6 in the first run, and another by accident because the same episode aired twice, none were skipped intentionally in the second run, although one was show accidentally twice, and now 54 are being skipped in this current run. So, they are showIng 240 out of the 300, yet a promo for Justice shows episodes from later on in the run. I really hope they pick them back up.

I'm a little confused. It seems like there were at least a couple times they aired the same episode back-to-back, but maybe it was only once. I know there was one time they had technical difficulties and only the first few minutes of the episode aired, then they just started showing a ton of commercials. Maybe it was only my local affiliate, not sure how those things work.

I've missed a bunch of other ones for different reasons. Cable and internet inexplicably went out for a few days last week. Had it repaired, but still missed 6 episodes. Hoping to patch up a lot of the holes with the second run. It's nice to have them in great quality.

I just found out tonight that they are proceeding with the 3rd run episodes Monday. Also, there are 6 episodes airing on the night of January 27 from 11pm to 2am Sunday morning.

I noticed that too. So are there exactly 300 syndicated episodes? Do you know if all the segments in the original run made it to the syndicated episodes? Weird if it landed exactly at 300.

Huh. They were supposed to cycle back to the first episodes they aired this Monday, but it was changed and now more new episodes will continue to air. Not a complaint mind you, I just hope they do a second run of everything so I can get some stuff I missed.

Yes. In fact, February 2, instead of showing the last syndicated episode, they are showing the very first one in the second afternoon half hour slot. If I am figuring this up correctly, since it is going to weekends only in a 3 hour marathon, that means episodes 102-108 will be shown with 105 being skipped, then the following weekend will be 109-114, then 115-120. 120 is the second part of NY Double Roof Rescue. 105 was originally skipped, and was supposed to be skipped again before the schedule change. Altogether 15 of the 1/2 hour episodes were skipped, with 6 from the first run and 9 from the third. 285 out of 300 isn’t bad. I hope at some point the others get shown.
