(The Kramdens and Nortons are in Chicago International Airport.)

Ralph: "I can't wait to beat this cold weather. I just want to relax in San Diego."

Ed: "We will be celebrating Christmas in all the hot weather. Boy, how great life is Ralph."

Ralph: "You mean how sweet it is."

Ed: "Oh."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: "Too bad that we had to take connecting flights."

Alice: "Let's wait here for my folks."

Ralph: "WHAT? YOU OLD FOLKS ARE COMING WITH US?"

Alice: "Yes. I just spotted them when you got stuck in the TSA scanner."

(Ed laughs. Ralph elbows him.)

Ralph: "If that blabbermouth comes near me, I will let you know about it."

(Alice parents come by.)

Alice's Mom (stlfling laughter): "Hello Sonny Boy! I see you didn't take the TSA scanner with you."

(Ed laughs.)

Ralph (yells): "SHUT UP!"

Alice's Dad: "Merry Christmas everyone."

Ed: "I hope we make it for Christmas. I want to get the presents Santa will get me."

(Ralph elbows Ed.)

Ralph: "This was a great idea from me. But, it wasn't my idea to bring that Alice's parents along."

Alice's Mom: "Santa is going to give you a lump of coal in your stocking."

Ed: "He does every year. Hahaha!"

(Ralph elbows Ed.)

Ralph: "I have a happy feeling that NOTHING will go wrong."

Man (Johnny Olsen on a PA mic): "Folks, all flights to San Diego have been cancelled due to the snow storm."

Ralph (yells): "WHAT?"

Ed: "Ralph, this is all your fault. Now Santa will not find us and give us presents."

Ralph: "What do you mean? It was your fault. You thought of this idea."

Ed: "You mentioned the city San Diego?"

Ralph: "I saw those words in YOUR newspaper."

Ed: "You forced me to buy one."

Alice's Mom: "Boys, stop fighting like the kids you are."

Alice: "When are we going to sleep?"

Ralph: "Let's go to a hotel. I am not sleeping here on this luggage."

Ed: "Yeah, the luggage will get smashed if you lay on it."

Ralph (yells): "SHUT UP!"

Ed: "Wait, I think there is a famous person coming. People are walking toward the entrance of the airport. Let's go over there."

(They do. They walk off stage...)

Ralph (off stage): "It's 11:59p. It couldn't be. Could it?"
