Can Tablets be fixed?
I broke another tablet by accident and I tried to see if Staples could fix it, but I had VERY bad customer service!
First...I had to wait for a few minutes, next he said no and I told him "My mom's stuff is on there" and that ******* said "It's not my fault that you broke it"! I told hum "Bah Humbug, Goodbye"...I almost wanted to say "**** You" to him since he was really was being a jerk to me...but...is there any good places or tactics that I can fix a tablet...at least I can get the pictures and videos off of it... |

There is, but it often seems they cost more than the tablet. I have a broken tablet myself, I'm just taking it to be recycled. Just FYI: When you have photos, music, etc also save it to your Cloud if if you have. I have both Google Drive and MSN One Drive and I always save things on them as well. Last year I had to buy a new computer (I bought a Laptop) and luckily my papers were saved on my One Drive. Btw, Staples has horrible customer service. Years ago I went in there to buy paper to make graduation invites (parents threw me a party for my first masters) and the guy was so rude. I ended up walking out and going somewhere else for assistance.

not unless it has an external video port and a way to connect a mouse or keyboard

Update...
I'm trying to extract more files off my tablet, but I can't get my tablet to go through the library computer.
Looks like I'll HAVE to take it in and tell my dad what happened... Looks like no one will be getting gifts this year... |

It’s hard finding a good tablet that isn’t an iPad. I would use a laptop or desktop to store my most important files.

Also, IllinoisTVFan gave good advice in that you should try saving important files on cloud storage, if you don’t already do so.

I had the same problem. I am able to import my bookmarked files from my tablet but I'm not sure I can do it with my videos. I think I can, but I'm not sure.

Update...
My dad keeps asking me about my mom's tablet which I accidentally broke and I still haven't told him it's broken...because I'm afraid he'll do this...
If he asks one more time...I'm just gonna tell him the truth! I might as well buy a new one! |

Like JSP said, tell the truth and be honest about it.
