Frasier: Life After Seattle

This will be another story that I will be working on. In this, something bad happens to Frasier and decides that he wants to move on with his life.

Plot:

Frasier gets fired from his own radio show and decides that he just can’t take it anymore. So, he decides to move back to Boston and goes back to his old roots again. But what will life be like for him at Cheers?

Chapter 1:

Frasier's Winter Woes

*Frasier comes home from his radio show looking sad*

Martin: What's the matter son?

Frasier: I got fired from my radio show.

Daphne: Why Frasier? You didn't do anything wrong.

Frasier: I didn't. But they are getting somebody younger instead.

Niles: That can't be. You helped so many people with their problems and now what are they going to do now that you are fired?

Frasier: I'll just go back to my regular job. Being a psychiatrist.

*Roz comes walking in*

Roz: Sorry to hear about your firing. I just feel so bad for you.

Martin: You should open an office here in Seattle. It will make you feel like home again.

Frasier: I can't. It will remind me too much of what just happened. So I'm going to move back to Boston because of that.

Daphne: You're leaving us?!

Frasier: Yes.

Niles: But you can't. Who is going to take care of your father besides you?

*Bulldog enters*

Bulldog: That's where I come in.

Roz: So you're going to take care of him?

Bulldog: Yes. But I just got a call from a young woman who will be taking care of him when I'm busy.

Frasier: *sighs* At least my father will be alright. But why isn't Daphne doing it anymore?

Daphne: I'm moving to the UK again. I'm going back to my roots once more.

Roz: But Frasier. You can't leave us.

Niles: You're not my brother anymore if you leave me.

Frasier: Why of course I am Niles. I just need to go back home, that's all.

Martin: You're probably having winter woes. Maybe once Spring comes, you'll want to change your mind again.

Frasier: No. I'm not changing my mind and it's final.

Martin: I'll miss you and so will everyone else. Please don't leave son.

Chapter 2:

Moving Out

*Frasier is seen packing his things

Daphne: Listen. Your father and brother are very upset over the fact that you are moving.

Frasier: But Daphne. You don't understand. The radio show that I did was my whole life. And now I'm out of a job.

Daphne: But why don't you listen to your father's advice and open up a practice right here?

Frasier: It will just remind me so much of the firing.

Daphne: Maybe it's because of budget cuts or something.

Frasier: I need to go back to my hometown.

Daphne: But why?

Frasier: I just want to find myself there. See what will make me happier again.

Daphne: Whatever you say. After all, you are the boss.

*Frasier continues to pack until he is done*

Frasier: Dad, there are things that I left behind which I want you to keep.

Martin: Son, I know you are upset, but don't leave us.

Frasier starts to get upset and cry.

Frasier: They had to hire somebody younger and they fired me because of that? I could've just been moved to another part of the day or something.

Niles: I'm going to miss you.

Frasier: I'm going to miss you too Niles.

*The Crane Brothers give hugs to each other*

Chapter 3

At The Airport

Frasier is seen driving his car to the airport

Lady at desk: May I help you sir?

Frasier: I'm leaving Seattle for good.

Lady at desk: And why is that?

Frasier: I need to move back to Boston to take care of things.

Lady at desk: Seattle's a nice place actually, but I understand if you need to move.

Frasier: Tickets please.

*Frasier hands over the money*

Lady at desk: Here you go and have a nice day.

Frasier: Thank you.

A teenager calls out to Frasier as he is about to sit down and wait for his flight.

Teenage boy: Dad!

Frasier: Frederick!

Turns out that his son Frederick, is now a teenager.

Frederick: Why are you leaving?

Frasier: I got laid off due to budget cuts.

Frederick: That stinks. What are you going to do now?

Frasier: Find a new job. Maybe work at Cheers or something.

Frederick: You should stay a psychiatrist. It's best for you.

Frasier: It's too upsetting and I need to take a break from the business.

Frederick: It's your move dad. I thought you liked helping people out.

Frasier: I do, but just need to move on.

Frederick: Whatever. You can come live with me if you want.

Frasier: That would be nice. Wish I could get married again.

Frederick: I'm sure you'll find someone. Maybe Diane or Lilith will show up or something.

PA Announcer: Now boarding for Boston.

Both: That's us!

Frasier: I can't wait to escape from Seattle and go back to my town again!

[MA]

There will be surprises in store for Chapter 4!
