Frosty The Snowman/Frosty Returns - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Every year CBS always shows the animated holiday special Frosty The Snowman and I can't believe that this animated holiday special is still a favorite cartoon to watch with families everywhere. In 1992 there was a sequel to Frosty The Snowman called Frosty Returns that featured actor John Goodman providing the voice of Frosty and was a hit when it debuted. As a kid I remember watching Frosty The Snowman and Frosty Returns during movie day at my school with my teacher and it's always a great animated special that's still fun to watch every year

I've always loved the original Frosty the Snowman with Jimmy Durante doing narration/singing. When I was a child, I cried and cried when Frosty melted in the green house with Karen.

I watched the show last night after Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. The Frosty story still gets to me even though I am now middle aged.

Not to mention "Frosty's Winter Wonderland", the real sequel to the original where he gets married.

Some previous presentations of "Frosty Returns" through the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) did not have the snowflakes and character that originally appeared in their first and final scenes (both of them had only a blue sky and some stars).
