Remembering a lost loves case - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have been trying to remember a lost loves case. A man (I think) was in a Catholic children's home. He remembered a nun who was very good to him and tried to help the kids as she had to take them to a nearby hospital to have experiments done on them. I think he was looking for her or another kid. I'm sorry this is so disjointed. It is how I remember it. Thanks in advance.

Tom Vaughn was looking for a friend he met at the Catholic Children’s home, not sure if this the case you’re thinking about

I remember this one did they have experiments done on them? If so then it's the one.
