It would have been interesting to see what things happened if he had lived. What music would he have done? Would he have toured? I think I read somewhere on my Rock and Roll History thread a while back that he was planning on it. 40 was too young to retire.
He did come out with a posthumous album, "Milk And Honey", in 1983 with the song "Nobody Told Me There Would Be Days Like These", which bore a suspicious resemblance to "Instant Karma". It was a doable song, it didn't shake the charts so much as I recall. And the big question: Would he have reunited with The Beatles? That was the song that was on everyone's mind for years. |
