Default Valerie and ODAAT renewed interest...

There's been renewed interesting in ODAAT, first with LOGO and now the DVD set

But Her lack of involvement in new extras for the DVD set is perplexing

Then she's yet to make a cameo on the "new" series (Mac has done one and Mike directed an episode - and he took time out of producing/directing the last season of "Baby Daddy" to do it!) Yes, she's done the odd congratulations to the new show tweet.

Her lack of any comment about not being involved in the new box set, or even a mention of it on her facebook or twitter....

Do we need to new hashtag...

#WolfiesmomGotUsODAATfansWondering?

(Also worth mentioning no comment on Della Reese's passing either on facebook or twitter either...)

Is she SO busy with her book, tour,QVC and Her new seasons of her cooking show she has no time...

The fascination started with Antenna TV because everyone keeps comparing their broadcasts to the butchered ones that Logo airs.

Could be possible that Valerie would rather no longer be associated with her old show from 40 years ago. She's obviously busy with other things now and involved with other projects, maybe she prefers to leave One Day At A Time behind and in the past.

But it launched her career ! Made her famous! And it's a good role, nothing to be ashamed of. Everyone loved her as Barbara Cooper!

A recent tweet involved a conversation with Mark Hamill when he guested on ODAAT, and she recently answered a Retrokatt question about the show. So I don't think that's it.

Nothing to be ashamed of is correct, I imagine Val appreciates those who still enjoy the show but it was 40 years ago, she's busy doing other things now and her lack of involvement in the ODAAT DVD set extra features could indicate she didn't want to be involved or maybe she just didn't have the time.

It does looks more likely based on facts that Valerie is just so busy with her little "empire" it seems to be logistics more than anything else....

Yeah, Antenna aired it first THEN Logo insanely butchered it. Not the other way around.

Norman Lear was honored at The Kennedy Center last night and Mack showed up but I am not sure about Valerie attending. I hope she made the time to pay tribute to the man who launched her career but she has overpriced pies and spaghetti to hawk. Who knows why she is so mum on plugging the set, she seems to want to distance herself from her old throng. Is she jealous that Mack got a part on the reboot and maybe she wasn't offered anything. That theory is unlikely but I just thought I would it throw it out there

I ordered the complete boxed set last night and got a good deal on it. I hope I don't get stiffed. One time I ordered something from there and never received it but I am taking my chances. Here is the link for those who are considering it.

Proceed with caution.
