Connecting my DVD recorder (PLEASE HELP) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here is a pic of the back of my DVD recorder.

When I had this DVD recorder hooked up to my tv with an X11 digital converter, I had all the gray color coded wires in the right spot and I was told that for my DVD recorder to work, I had to put Rca wires (red, white and yellow wires I to the connectors that I left marked 14, 15 and 16 into the X11 and it worked.

Now, I am trying to connect it to my tv that just has a digital adapter. I put all the gray color coded wires in the right spots on the tv but when I put the red, white and yellow wires into the connectors that I marked 14, 15 and 16 and the other ends into the tv, I got nothing. I need help.

14, 15, and 16 are marked as "REC INPUTS" so those should be the ones coming FROM your cable box's OUTPUTS, not going TO your TV's INPUTS

sorry for the pic being upside down. I thought for sure it would be rightside up. Thanks for the advice. The only thing is my digital adapter doesn't have any red, white and yellow outputs.
