There are quite a few cases from Unsolved Mysteries which have absolutely no articles online (other than the UM websites). Some of them include:
Aileen Conway Don Smith Rae Ann Mossor Lisa Bishop and the Freedon Philip Fraser (although I think someone posted an article about him on here) Dick Hansen Su-Ya Kim Tom Kueter (especially frustrating that there was no article about the case being solved) For awhile, I would have included Joan Jefferies, but recently I found an article about her murder and a lawsuit with her family and Sam Patel. What other cases have absolutely nothing else about them online? Why do you think some cases have a bunch of articles while others have virtually nothing? |

Richard Bocklage. There seems to be no updates since his car was found in 1991.

I've seen articles online about Aeileen Conway and Lisa Bishop and the Freedon. One case I have seen nothing on outside of the UM segment: The Wackers |

Patrick Ackles (sp?), a child who went missing in Florida in 1972 and was briefly profiled as part of a missing persons roll call in 1991. There was apparently an update aired years later that also never made it to syndication where a man claiming to be Patrick turned up at the mother's doorstep. She never really thought it was her son and DNA testing confirmed her hunch.
Crystaldawn stated in a post from a while back that Patrick's mother let his case be featured on the roll call with the proviso that they never mention the abductor's name (perhaps someone in the family?) and that the family no longer considers him missing. |

The first two that came to mind were Aeileen Conway and Phillip Fraser. I'm more surprised in Fraser's case since he was definitely murdered. Conway's is still somewhat up in the air as to what happened to her.

How about Lynne Plaskett AKA the cancer curing mini UFO? That story is too crazy for even the tabloids to cover

I have googled cases where there weren't that many articles online with any information. I was surprised I couldn't find that many on Sarah Powell... you'd think that would have been a big deal, esp since it happened in Clear Lake (TX)
I also can't find any articles about Nyleen Kay Marshall's mother, Nancy Marshall and about her dying in Mexico. I think I heard the info here and somewhere else, but I've never found an article reporting it. I thought that was really strange. |

--Not all newspapers and/or police departments have the ability to, or want to, put their archives online --Not all family members will create websites, Facebook pages, etc about their Unsolved Mystery --Some websites have better search engine capabilities than others I say all of these respectfully and don't mean to come across as snobbish. Rather my observations are based on personal experiences during my professional career. |
