It's true. The first episode was actually directed by William A. Graham. Whether he's the evangelist is doubtful, but my dad knew the Reverend Billy Graham before he became famous because he spent either a semester or a year at a Bible college that he was the president of.

2 different people, William A. Graham died in 2013, Rev. Graham is still with us at 99.
