Wonderful news! I had wondered why it was taking awhile but I knew they would come through. Hopefully Season 8 will follow in the summer to finish this one off.

Hopefully this means Sony's still on track with Shout. I'd love to see complete series sets of 227, Archie Bunker's Place, Benson, Silver Spoons, & Who's the Boss? along with Season 3 of both My Two Dads and The Flying Nun. Also, I hope they work with Fox to bring a complete series set of St. Elsewhere next year -- that's one A LOT of people (myself included) have been waiting a very long time for! And it'd be nice if they'd release a complete series set of Too Close for Comfort & started to release Empty Nest on DVD...we can hope.

Do you think that when Diff'rent Strokes is done and dusted in its regular seasonal releases (including the one-and-only ABC season from 1985-86), Shout! will release an all-in-one of it sometime in the future (as they did w/Hart to Hart, them releasing an all-in-one of that after finishing the seasonal releases)?

I don't like seasons 7 and 8 that much but will get them just to complete my collection. Glad it looks like it might be finished soon, after over 13 years since s1 came out

The DVD set arrived in the mail yesterday. I will check this out after I finish watching other stuff. With all of these reboots of shows coming up, I have been binge watching the original series of all of those shows.
