In 1987 An R&B singer named Regina Belle made her debut with the album All By Myself which produced many hits including her debut hit So Many Tears and in 1989 she released her second album Stay With Me which produced the hit Baby Come To Me and a duet with Kool And The Gang member James JT Taylor called All I Want Is Forever which was written by Diane Warren. While she is known for singing A Whole New World with Peabo Bryson for Disney's Aladdin Regina continued releasing albums in the 90's including her covers album Reaching Back in 1995. It's surprising that Regina Belle is still singing today as a gospel singer because she has such an amazing voice second to Whitney Houston and she is so great to listen to

I got two Regina Belle albums for my birthday and one of them is the Reaching Back album from 1995 and it's such a great album and the way she handles soul covers is amazing and her cover of Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time is better than The New Kids On The Block's version and if you can get a copy of Reaching Back check it out because it's great. I also got Regina's lone MCA album Believe In Me and it's also a great album where she tries to sing jazz but why MCA failed to promote this album is a mystery to me. Regina Belle's first gospel album Love Forever Shines is wonderful as well

Here's some sad news regarding Regina Belle and I hope she returns to record a new gospel album soon once she recovers. It has been announced that Regina Belle has been diagnosed with a brain tumor as she revealed on an episode of TV One's Unsung and I was surprised because she is a really cool singer and I hope she can make a strong comeback to music soon
