Default Which TV father would you like to have?

State which TV father you would like to have, and tell why. Only name your top choice.

I would love to have Jack Arnold from "The Wonder Years" as my father. He never makes the list when they do best TV fathers, but that's probably because he was so realistic and not all sugary-sweet like a lot of TV fathers. Jack loved his family, was a good provider, and was always there for his kids. He wasn't perfect. He could be grumpy. But, he was a good man. I think he was a great father, especially if you were a girl. I loved the relationship between him and his daughter Karen. They clashed simply because they believed in different things, but they always made up in the end. I agree with Jack on most issues so he and I wouldn't clash near as much. I have a terrible relationship with my own father. I hate him. He has emotionally and mentally abused me my entire life. I would kill to have a father as good as Jack Arnold.

Jack Arnold is the last on my list. He was always grumpy and mad all the time.

TV Father I'd like to have is Howard Cunningham from Happy Days.

He's last on most lists, LOL, but I liked him a lot. I think he would be a great dad to have.

i think Steven Douglas or Ward cleaver would of been cool, mainly because it would of been cool to live in that era, everything seem so carefree and people actually talk to people.
