Default Texas gunman threatened mother-in-law who attended church where 26 were killed

Another tragedy in America. Thankfully the Bastard was shot by an armed resident, fled then he shot himself. Not sure yet which bullet killed him.

Horrible!! Just disgusting ! Now we even have to worry about going to a nice place like Church that we could be gunned down and killed!

Prayers to the victims, and their families ! Also to the Church congregation and the whole community!

We had a strange incident last week at my church. A young man, came walking into the church basement, where we were having a meeting. When
asked what was it he wanted, he just stood there, looking around, and suddenly, turned and ran out. Needless, to say that incident sparked a lot
of conversations about keeping the church locked. Our church is not usually
locked during church or during rehearsals or meetings. Starting this week
the church is going to be locked during church, with doorbells installed.
How sad it has to come to this!

At least we know he's in hell, and there's no way he can get out.

Can you lock the doors from the inside. What if something happened on the inside to a parisher, or a fire broke out. You need to get out fast. I would just have more security or greeters posted. I would not suggest locking doors.

Yes, that would be a concern, but you can get OUT any door, you just can't get IN the doors, anymore.

Sadly, this isn't the first time. Wasn't there a church shooting in Charleston, SC? And yes, Bonnie, I echo your sentiments. Prayers to the victims and their families. Also to the Church congregation and the whole community.

This is just disgusting that churches are no longer safe. That man was pure evil. I hope something can be done to keep this from happening again.

There has been talk about having armed guards at the entrances to churches, which seems so wrong, but unfortunately it looks like the churches will have no other option.

RIP to all those murdered. Prayers to the families.

Also, one in Antioch, Tennessee, a suburb of Nashville.
